From changing a light bulb to installing solar panels every little bit helps, and you'll be able to track your progress towards earning a BIG HAND for Settle.

By checking off actions on our list a range of "Green Fingers" can be earned in the form of colourful stickers to be proudly worn.

The more environmentally friendly changes made, the more fingers can be earned eventually qualifying for a Big Green Helping Hand!

A second list of more green measures can then be completed for a second (right) hand that will mean everyone in Settle will be able to Put Their hands Together for our Special Environment.

We'd like to see everyone in the Settle District make these simple, cheap but effective measures and hopefully become the Greenest in the Dales within one year.

Aimed at schools, our scheme will give rewards for making small but significant changes to lifestyle from a Going Green Checklist for each student.
